About Us
Mommy Getaways Travel Club was founded in 2009 by Dana Williams, a travel agent and single mom in Dallas, Texas. The club was founded due to the need for fun and affordable travel opportunities for single moms and their kids. In addition, single parents, particularly single moms are often hesitant to take vacations with their kids due to factors such as safety and affordability.

Mommy Getaways will seek to alleviate this obstacle by providing several group vacations per year which will allow parents to travel at lower rates, while traveling within an affinity group as opposed to traveling alone with their children. Although Mommy Getaways Travel Club was created for single moms, the group is open to all moms. No mom will be discriminated against due to race, religion, or sexual preference.
